Dressing Room Diaries

by Joy Guadarrama

Hello Fashion Lovers!

Its Joy again!

I hope y’all are having a great week so far! Hang in there, it's almost the weekend!

Since you guys enjoyed our last DRD blog so much, im back at it again!!

Y'all know the drill with Dressing Room Diaries... I hunt down some of my favorite pieces from Vintage Vogue and review them for you. Of course, I'll be giving you my honest review on these pieces and as usual, the lighting is bad and clothes are everywhere but that’s real life for ya... real life, real girl, real clothes! Lol.

In each of the photos below, I’ll let you know what the item is, size I’m wearing, price, as well as any other info I think you may want to know, and of course, fashion tips! Let me know if you have any further questions or if I missed anything please comment here on the blog or on our social media pages -Instagram, Facebook @shopthevogue, and I will be sure to answer your inquiries!

With that being said... Let's get started!

                    J.Crew Dress ($24.99 | Size 2) | Red Corral Necklace ($33.00) | Altered State Wedges $24.99

Red Orange = FIRE! Who agrees? Pop of Color! I love it.. and these ruffles in the bottom are really giving me life right now! I MEAN.... *heart eyes*! I paired this lovely dress with some light brown wedges, and a red corral necklace. Although Fall is around the corner, Texas is still killing it with the heat... this dress is honestly so fresh, it'll keep you sane!

   Kaos Jeans Striped Pants ($29.99 | M) | Top Shop White Tank Top ($14.99 | 4) | Rebels Olive Sandals $47.99

So, if im being honest, I wasn't 100% sure of these pants when i saw them on the hanger. Why? Because I'M PETITE, i have little legs!! Lol. I always see tall, looking like models, wearing these and I just couldn't imagine myself in them, ever. But i decided to give them a try ...Not too shabby huh? I think i'll take a pair! ;) Considering the belt goes up the waist, it makes an appearance of longer legs. I could totally wear these, and so can you! This trend is totally in, and im digging it! I paired these with Olive green suede slide sandals and since there's already so much pattern going on with the pants, i decided to go with a simple white tank top.

                NWT The Korner Blouse ($29.99 | S) | Calvin Klein Pants ($18.99 | S) | Franco Sarto Flats $24.99

Black and White is always in style! I am totally digging this peplum black and white striped top. I went with black pants but you can totally pair it with red, white, or even pink pants! Anything goes. I'm just going to take a moment to talk about these black Calvin Klein's...  they're super soft, and INCREDIBLY stretchy... perfect for POST lunch! LOL. I need these in my life! This whole outfit is honestly the most comfortable, from the lose blouse to the Franco Sarto leather sandals. I could totally wear these sandals all day!

          NWT Antonio Melani ($27.99 | 4) | Navy/Silver 2 Stretch Bracelet ($16.99) | Tommy Hilfiger Heels $29.99

Beautiful printed crochet dress! I love the 3/4 sleeve and the lace. A bit more on the formal side, but this whole outfit is still very comfy. These Tommys have a chunky heel (sorry, not pictured) but the heel makes it that much more comfortable. Cute, comfy and classy!
